Have a Honda RA 272 (at Spa. It’s raining, because Spa)
Also have its transversely mounted 1.5 litre V12 which had a rev limit of 14,000 rpm, quite something fifty years ago. Not to Honda though who made a 125cc five at around the same time which wouldn’t run
below
17,000 rpm.

Contrast this with the current Honda F1 engine, which seems to be most comfortable around the 0 RPM mark.
